Erica Brazier graduated from Cairo High School in 1995 and is currently employed by the Cairo School District as the Supervisor of Parent Education for the Alexander County Parents as Teachers Prenatal to Three-Year-Old program. With over twenty years of experience in the early childhood field, Erica’s focus for the past sixteen years has been on child development, family well-being, and breaking down barriers within the community. Serving the community has always been, and continues to be, one of her greatest joys.

Erica is a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves as the Youth Sunday School Teacher and a Youth Ministry Leader. Additionally, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Carbondale Alumni Chapter, where she is dedicated to building relationships, promoting the importance of learning, and breaking down barriers in the community.

Erica believes that understanding a community’s needs begins with one-on-one relationships. Through these relationships and the knowledge she has gained, she is committed to continuing her service as a member of the Rise Community Market Board.
